The Feast of Weeks
Prophetic Truths – Michael@Okulski.org
It is now fifty days after the Feast of First Fruits. Seven Sabbaths have been completed, and it is now once again, the Feast of Weeks. For close to 20 years now I have been obeying Gods Voice and His Commandments to the best of my ability to celebrate the Spring Feast Days and make them Holy.
When the remnant obey Gods commandments in this area, it is like rehearsing a play year after year so that when God releases additional fulfillments of these Anointed Holy Days, we are ready to receive through obedience and faithfulness, the additional spiritual gifts waiting for His people.
Act One of The Spring Feast Days started on the first day of the first month of the Hebrew calendar year which started on the evening of March twenty-fifth of the Gregorian calendar. How do we know when the New Year starts in the Hebrew Calendar? It is when the New Moon is sighted in Israel and the barley has ripened to the point it is ready to be harvested. Happy New Year!
Act Two started on the tenth day of the same Hebrew month or the evening of April third on the Gregorian calendar. It is on this day that God instructs His people to select the Lamb of God that was to be sacrificed and eaten as the Passover meal. As in all the previous years, I chose Yeshua of Nazareth (Jesus) as the true Lamb of God. God also instructed His people to closely examine the Lamb that they had chosen for any blemish that would disqualify the Lamb that they had chosen for the next four days. Upon examination, Scripture revealed that Yeshua was with out sin and fully qualified to be the Passover Lamb of God.
Act Three started on the beginning of the fourteenth day of the first Hebrew month of the Hebrew calendar which was the evening of April seventh of the Gregorian calendar. At sundown I celebrated The Lords Supper. I remembered Yeshuas betrayal on that night and early morning of His beating, flogging, tearing of His beard, the Crown of Thorns, and the trial where He was falsely accused and found guilty. At nine am on April eighth (still the fourteenth day of the Hebrew Calendar,) Yeshua was nailed to the cross and at three pm, at the exact time that the High Priests sacrificed the Passover Lamb on the Alter in The Temple, Yeshua gave His life as the true Passover Lamb of God. After this he was taken down off the cross and buried in a tomb before sundown. It is then that those who believe paint the Blood of The Lamb on the doorposts of our soul, that death may pass over us and we may live life in abundance.
Act Four started on the beginning of the fifteenth day of the first Hebrew month, which was the evening of April eighth. It is this time which the Passover Meal is eaten in haste, standing up fully dressed and ready to go on a journey of redemption of my slavery to sin. This was also the first of seven days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread where I removed all leavened bread from my home and cleansed my soul, repenting of all known sins in my life.
Act Five celebrated the Feast of First Fruits where Yeshua (Jesus) became the first of all humanity to be resurrected from the dead. This Feast Day started on the day after the first Hebrew Sabbath (Sunday) that followed the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This year, it started at sundown of April 11th on the Gregorian calendar. It was sometime that night when Yeshua (Jesus) rose from the dead. The next morning on April 12th (still the same day on the Hebrew calendar) was when Mary saw Yeshua (Jesus) at the tomb site and initially thought He was the gardener. Forty days later, Yeshua would ascend into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God until His enemies have been defeated.
Act Six the final act of the Spring Feast Days which starts on the Feast of First Fruits. God instructs His people to count fifty days and seven Sabbaths / weeks from this day so they will know when the Feast of Weeks has arrived. On the fiftieth day is the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) which started on the evening of May thirtieth and lasted till the evening of May thirty-first on the Gregorian calendar. It was on this day that Israel received the written Word of God at Mount Sinai and the Power of The Holy Spirit spoken of in the Book of Acts. This Feast of Weeks was the most powerful that I have had the privilege to celebrate so far. Prophets throughout the world have been prophesying that Gods gifts, power, miracles, and favor would start to be poured out upon a remnant of His people who have been obedient to Gods Commandments and His Voice as described in the Covenant God made with His People.
May The Remnant rise to defeat Gods enemies and lead Gods Bride into the righteousness and justice and faithfulness needed to be victorious in the days to come. Praise Yah!
