• In the covenant of Moses, God punished the people directly for their sins until mercy was obtained through the sacrificial system. In the covenant of Jesus, Jesus bore God’s wrath for our sins on the cross but if we sin and we do not repent then we leave ourselves open for satan’s wrath to infect our bodies and our souls until forgiveness is obtained through repentance.
