Freedom is the length of the chain between imagination and reality,

My beliefs reflect the God I serve. My thoughts reflect my beliefs and how I have been influenced. My words and actions reflect my thoughts and define how I am known . Ultimately, we all manifest the God we serve.

If I am to be someone of integrity then my thoughts and words and actions must agree.

If I am to be someone of consequence then my words and actions must be righteous, just, kind, and compassionate.

My focus determines the direction I am going. If my focus is on the past then I am going nowhere.

If I don’t know where I’m going, any road will take me there.

How I get there determines where there is.

Pain that is not transformed is transmitted.

If I listen only to those I agree with, I am destined to be of no consequence.

The more I talk, the less I will be understood.

If I talk to someone who isn’t listening, I will be of no consequence.

If I talk when I have nothing to say, I will be of no consequence.

If I am to be of consequence, the person in front of me must be the most important person in my life.

If I react to my circumstances I will be of no consequence.

If I am not part of the solution then I am part of the problem.

Not forgiving others is like drinking poison and expecting them to get sick.

The more mercy I show others, the more mercy I will receive and I need all I can get.

I am not required to agree with or support the choices of others in order to respect their right to make them.

I cannot convince anyone of anything. All I can do is plant a seed and lead by example.

In order to communicate with someone I must hear what they mean to say and speak their language.

A successful relationship requires first that we choose to have one, second that we do not change our minds, and third we do something to improve it everyday.

I can form an opinion without taking sides.

The best defense is not to be offended.

Not everyone who attacks me is my enemy.

Not everyone that I disagree with is wrong.

If I live for someone else’s approval I will die from their rejection.

When I find myself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Just because someone needs help all the time does not mean they are not worth helping.

I am always one step away from being one step closer to God. Sometimes I need to turn around first.
