We must recognize every thought and imagination that is not of God and use the authority given to us by Jesus to make it captive (bind) and and evict (loose) it from our souls to the obedience of Christ

[2 Corinthians 10:4-5] For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

[Matthew 16:19] And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
